Thornapple Township operates two cemeteries, MT. HOPE and PARMALEE.
PARMALEE is located in the northern section of the Township on Parmalee Road between Stimson Road and Whitneyville Road. There are no lot sales in this cemetery, however we still accept burials for current lot owners. We recommend you check with the township sexton for usability of those lots that you own.
MT. HOPE was established in 1875 and has expanded many sections over time. It is located east of downtown Middleville off of Old M-37 (E. Main St. /West State Rd.) on the eastern edge of the Village of Middleville.
