You may also pay your property tax & sewer bills by credit/debit card for a fee of 3% (minimum $2).

Welcome to Thornapple Township! Our Township Hall is located at 200 E. Main Street in Middleville, MI.

Effective May 31, 2016, office hours will be Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Office hours on Fridays will be by appointment only. 

The Assessor has office hours Monday and Wednesday. 

Upcoming Meetings

The Thornapple Township Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Thornapple Township Hall. The next regularly scheduled meeting is March 13, 2017.

The Thornapple Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Township Budget for fiscal year 2017-2018 at the Township Hall, 200 E. Main St., Middleville on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.  A copy of the budget is available for review at the Township Hall during normal business hours or at the following link: 20172018FYProposedBudget.

The Thornapple Township Board will meet on March 9, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. for a strategic planning session at the Thornapple Township Hall. 

The Thornapple Township Planning Commission meets the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Thornapple Township Hall.  The next regularly scheduled meeting is March 27, 2017.    

The Thornapple Township Board of Review will meet on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Township Hall for an organizational meeting of the Board and to review the Assessor's Roll. 

The Thornapple Township Board of Review will meet on Monday, March 13th (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.); Tuesday, March 14th (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.); and Wednesday, March 15th (6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) at the Township Hall. CALL 269-795-7202 to make appointment with the Board of Review  (Written appeals accepted until March 15, 2017). The tentative recommended equalization ratios and estimated multipliers (factors) necessary to compute individual state equalized values of real property in the Township of Thornapple, Barry County:

Thornapple Ambulance Partnership Program (TAPP): Renewal information for the 2016 TAPP membership is mailed in December to current members. New members can complete an Application and review the Notice of Privacy Practices. For more information, see Departments:Emergency Services.
